Membership of the RACGP provides GP Registrars with a range of services and tools. Here are some which assist with general practice training and fellowship preparation:
Pre-examination workshops are available to RACGP registrar members for a small fee during their examination enrolment period.
Free services for RACGP registrar members
- Support through the RACGP John Murtagh Library. A wide range of services can be accessed online. If registrars need assistance in building knowledge in a particular area, the helpful and knowledgeable staff can help locate atlases, journals, multiple choice questions, DVDs and more to help. - Assessment practice papers.
- Online examination support for candidates enrolled in the RACGP exam. This is provided through the RACGP online learning platform gplearning.

Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine
ACRRM offers a wide range of resources to help GP Registrars who are members of the college through their training and assessment.
Within Rural and Remote Medical Education Online (RRMEO):
- plan and monitor your progress towards learning goals using the personal Learning Planner
- use the Education Inventory to locate clinical attachments and training posts, find courses, workshops, conferences, residential schools and search online learning modules and resources
- 38 free ACRRM learning modules

- Free Multiple Choice Questionnaire practice examination questions available online plus the opportunity to sit a 50 question practice exam in the same format as the summative examination during the enrolment period.
- For a fee, Multi Source Feedback (MSF) – a formative / practice assessment can be arranged by the candidate or via their RTP to gain feedback before undertaking the summative MSF assessment
- Free mini Clinical Exam (miniCEX) – an online training module and formative / practice documents to conduct a practice miniCEX prior to the summative assessment
- Structured Assessment using Multiple Patient Scenarios (StAMPS) practice examination
